BIO:

Raised in Illinois, I now live in the scenic town of LeClaire, Iowa along the great Mississippi River with my husband.

For the past nine years I've worked with ink, watercolors and acrylics in renderings of nature and her abstracts.

Being a self-developed artist and relying on natural talents, I've learned to draw from my inner spirit to create the interaction of my subjects. I've studied many techniques in the use of ink and watercolors, developing my own style and expression .

I create original designs for greeting cards and wearing apparel. Larger layouts are done for matting and framing. Using the smallest of Rapidograph pen points for my detailing, I then lay in the water colors for emotion and texture,

I joined a local non-profit art group in my hometown of which I'm active in.

I'm currently employed outside of the home, leaving me to spend my free time "creating".

My goal is to express the energy and truth of my subjects to a higher level with each new rendering.
