Renew Items

Auto-renewals start January 1. 2022

What is Auto-Renew?

• This feature will automatically renew eligible items one time. Items that have a hold on them will not be renewed.

• "Almost due" and "Auto-renew" notices are sent out 3 days before the original due date by email or text.  Email notifications will detail what has been renewed as well as the new due date.  Text notifications will direct you to check your account on line for renewals and due dates.  If you are signed up for e-receipts by text or email you will be notified when items are checked out or renewed.

To check your account for renewal status of items, go to the library catalog.    (leclairelibrary.org)

Click on the tab labeled "Patron Account."

Enter your Library Barcode and Password. (Hint: The default password is the last four digits of your telephone number.)

Click on the "Log In" button.

Click on the "Items Out" button.

From here you can see which items have been renewed.  Items cannot be renewed if they have already been renewed once, or if a hold has been placed on an item by another library patron.
