The Friends support our programs, improve our facility, upgrade our materials!
MISSION: The Mission of the Friends of the LeClaire Community Library is to support and advocate for the LeClaire Community Library. There are many ways to support library services, whether you like to volunteer, prefer to donate funds, or both!
MEETINGS: Currently the group meets on the 4th Thursday* six times a year at the LeClaire Community Library @ 4:30 pm. The months we meet are January, March, May, July, September, and 3rd Thursday in November. Anyone interested in supporting the library is welcome to attend.
Help Us Grow-- Donate today to shape the library's future
Our library strives to be a community center and a resource for the community. A place for life-long learning, a place to meet a friend or spend time with family, a place where people can gather information on hobbies, topics that interest them, entertainment, and more.
It's no secret that the City of LeClaire is growing. While we have been generously supported by the city, tax dollars only help with library operational costs to keep the building open and purchase materials. It is through private gifts and through the support of the endowment fund that enable us to host programs for all ages, make improvements to the facility, and provide services to meet the needs of our growing and evolving community.
