When is the city wide garbage/cleanup day?

The city wide garbage/clean up/bulk item day for LeClaire residents was held Saturday, October 8  2022  from 8:00am to 4:00pm at the LeClaire Public Works Facility at 1802 Iowa Drive.  224 loads of trash were brought to the Public Works Facility that day and filled 14, 20 yard dumpsters.  The annual free cleanup is usually scheduled the 2nd Saturday of October each year, so watch for the 2023 date.


Summary:

FREE Disposal of large, bulky waste items, appliances, and tires for all City of LeClaire residents with FULLY PAID City garbage and sewer bills (NO e-waste or hazardous waste).  Bring as many loads and many trips that day as needed.  Just have your proof of LeClaire residency ready (drivers license, garbage bill, etc...)
